The yard of the western farm (nr. 5) in Laupland around 1918. On this farm we find three generations of homesteads: the smokehouse from the late 16th century (here in the foreground in the middle of the yard), kårstova, a house for the retired farmer, from around 1730 (outside the picture) and the stately farmhouse on the far left built in 1830 with money earned on jektefart, trade along the coast of Norway. The barn to the right in the back was built in 1847 and was intermittently used as a church in Bokn while the new church was built the same year.
The smokehouse was built in the 16th century and is the oldest house in Bokn. Around 1980 it was moved to this location, about a hundred meters north of the old cluster farm and immediately north of the kårstova.

Drei Generationen von Bauernhäusern in Laupland
Die Hofzufahrt des westlichen Hofs (Hof 5) in Laupland um 1918. Auf diesem Hof finden sich drei Generationen von Wohnhäusern: das Räucherhaus aus dem späten 16. Jahrhundert (hier im Vordergrund, mittig im Hof), die Kårstova aus der Zeit um 1730 (außerhalb des Bildes) und das stattliche Bauernhaus ganz links, das 1830 mit dem Verdienst aus einem Einmaster (Schiff) erbaut wurde. Die Scheune hinten rechts wurde 1847 errichtet und diente zeitweise als Kirche in Bokn, während im selben Jahr die neue Kirche gebaut wurde.
Das Räucherhaus wurde im 16. Jahrhundert erbaut und ist das älteste Haus in Bokn. Um 1980 wurde es an seinen heutigen Standort, etwa hundert Meter nördlich des alten Bauernhofs und unmittelbar nördlich der Kårstova, versetzt.
